Officials in North Carolina's Division of Waste Management have fined EQ Industrial Services Inc. more than $550,000 and have proposed revoking EQ's hazardous waste permit. Officials cited permit violations and prior fires and waste releases that had not been previously reported. EQ officials cite no environmental impact.
