Labrie Equipment Limited Reveals New Corporate Structure and Corporate Identity

Labrie Equipment Limited announced today that it has changed its structure, following its acquisition of certain Leach Company assets from Federal Signal Corporation.

The company has restructured to regroup the Labrie; Leach; Wittke; Juggler and Industrial Lifters brands under one corporate umbrella, which, following a name change has officially become the Labrie Environmental Group.

"Our strategy since 2003 has been to gain brands that add to the existing Labrie lines, allowing us to expand our market share and consolidate our offer to the industry," said Jean Bourgeois, Executive V.P., and General Manager.

"By restructuring we can preserve not only the integrity and equity of the Labrie brand and what it represents, but to bring our own expertise to these strongly recognized acquisitions," he added.

Under the umbrella of the Labrie Environmental Group, each brand is set to represent a particular line of solid waste collection equipment. The widely known yellow Labrie ellipse will continue to be associated with the manual, semi-automated and fully-automated side-loading collection.

The Group will manufacture rear-loaders under the Leach banner and front-loading units under the Wittke banner. The Group also owns and manufactures the Juggler brand of solid/liquid separators, and manufactures tippers and industrial lifters under the Industrial Lifters brand.

All equipment will be manufactured at the Group's facilities in Quebec, Canada, whose expansion to accommodate the additional increase in production capacities is expected to be completed before the end of 2006.

The company has also established a U.S-based, dedicated parts hub, which, just months away from being fully operational, is being supported by the former Leach customer service team, who bring years of experience to the business and who form the Customer Support Group.

"Our expanded offering is in line with our aim to become a world class manufacturer of solid waste equipment," stated Bourgeois, "built for greener, more efficient, smarter, and safer operation. The Group invests heavily in R&D, to continuously offer products that allow service providers to improve their businesses. "That is a long-term commitment we've entered into," he added.
