AK Steel Completes Construction on Waste Processing Plant

AK Steel (NYSE: AKS) has completed construction at its Ashland, Kentucky Works to process and recycle waste materials from the plant's blast furnace, coke making operation, and continuous caster. The new facility will be able to recycle up to 250,000 tons of waste per year that would otherwise be sent to area landfills.
