Titan Technologies Signs License for Twenty Tire Recycling Facilities

Titan Technologies (OTC: TITT) has signed a licensing agreement to build recycling facilities in North, Central, and South America. The agreement provides for the construction of up to twenty facilities within the first six years, and up to seven facilities per year thereafter. Titan will receive a license fee for each plant of $1 million; licensees will also pay royalties of 1.7 percent of total sales. Each plant is estimated to process 150 tons of tires per day. Minnesota Rolls Out Plans to Increase Office Paper Recycling

The Minnesota Office of Environmental Assistance has launched its statewide office paper reduction campaign through a set of educational tools designed to address the needs of businesses. The OEA's information offers ideas for "breaking down the paper wall"-for instance, printing on both sides of paper and saving documents electronically versus printing them out. Environmental Group Cautions against Epic Star Wars Waste

Environmental groups are viewing the release of the latest Star Wars movie this week with a skeptical eye, as they anticipate thousands of tons of discarded toys and packaging headed to landfills. Earth911.org notes that none of the movie's "action figures" can be recycled, and will sit in landfills for decades.
