October 11-18 marks the first-ever National Cell Phone Recycling Week. As part of Call2Recycle, the Rechargeable Battery Recycling Corporation's cell phone recycling program, in connection with RadioShack, is encouraging consumers to drop off old cell phones at local RadioShack locations. The phones, which will be refurbished and resold, will benefit the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. Since 1994, RBRC has collected over 22 million pounds of rechargeable batteries.
