Waste Management (www.wm.com) has asked a Davidson County (Tenn.) Chancery Court to review a July landfill expansion decision by Nashville's Metro Solid Waste Regional Board (www.nashville.gov/Recycle), saying the board's rejection of the plan was "characterized by an abuse of discretion and a clearly unwarranted exercise of discretion."
